To my home on the internet that is slowly going to let me figure out what this place wants to be. Everyone welcome.

My name is Mel, and I still, even after almost 5 decades of life, never felt like I ever really figured out how to be a ‘grownup’. I mean, sure, I have a job, I have kids, I have dogs, but I pretend to be a grownup every day as I try to life my life my way. And although there are plenty of teens, tweens and young adults that see me as a ‘grownup’, I refuse to get stodgy or old.

This place is a hodgepodge of my life – and I hope anyone who happens upon it finds it helpful, amusing, or just a wholesome corner of the internet. (There aren’t enough of those.)
